International Market Access and Reimbursement Senior Manager for Germany

The Senior Manager Market Access and Reimbursement, Region DACH/NL will take the lead on all market access activities related to the specific geography and will be tasked to advance, establish or maintain the reimbursement status in the group of countries, s/he is responsible for. S/He will be directly reporting into the International organization with dotted line reporting into the Group Country Manager DACH/NL. S/he will be teaming up with the Group Country Manager to manage governmental affairs in the territory.


  • Develop & lead the market access strategy for the responsible geography  
  •  Participate in country leadership team meetings: serve as the market access expert
  •  Plan and coordinate dossier development and the relevant data collection for submission to HTA agencies and sick funds
  • Lead the efforts together with the local commercial team (Area and Country Managers) to secure public & private sick funds' coverage and establish hospital based contracts as required
  •  Lead and coordinate interactions with all relevant stakeholders to support reimbursement goals in the responsible geography
  •  Assist with the development and implementation of public relations and government affairs strategy as it pertains to the market access environment
  • Develop and implement corporate (Pricing and contracting) policies and strategies with a bias for maximizing important resources including time, money, and return-on-investment 
  • Serve as the market access expert from responsible geographies and as such provide input/guidance

Your Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of market access experience (contracting, reimbursement or market access positions) within the Health Care Industry
  • Experience with German sick funds’ contracting and their stakeholders
  • Experience of managing national reimbursement submissions and established relationships with key reimbursement stakeholders in Germany
  • Ability to prioritise and drive results
  • Clear understanding of market related issues and understanding of commercial strategies and priorities
  • Strong communication skills that will assist the Company’s communication efforts to its internal and outside audiences, including International regulatory agencies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders,
  • Travel Requirements: 30% travel outside of the home office
