HSE & Facility Manager

As part of the Logistics Team, you will take ownership of all security and maintenance activities than the span from ensuring health and safety standards are met, to training internal employees on compliance topics. This is an exciting role on a rapidly growing business and as such will provide a great platform for a talented and a high performer to contribute directly to the success of the business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and lead internal maintenance technicians and contractors
  • General upkeep and building maintenance
  • Security, Health & Safety Standards
  • Office and internal production spaces cleaning
  • Waste disposal according to local regulations
  • Implement new projects related to building improvements
  • Procurement of office equipment
  • Procurement of consumables
  • Landscaping and snow removal
  • Manage company cars and parking
  • Coordinate personnel training in matters of security and compliance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years relevant work experience, preferably in an airport, pharma, luxury goods or other highly regulated environment

Education:
  • Technical Background and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management

Skills:
  • Consolidated knowledge of Safety & Health standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and priorization skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Computer literate with the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and provide alternative solutions while incorporating and understanding change management obstacles
  • Learning oriented and focused on working with teams Fluent in writing and orally in English, French and/or German
