Our client with offices in Switzerland and all over the world has the mission to develop electronic measurement systems for the Broadcast market. We are looking for a Technician (f/m), responsible for the technical part of the set-up of the new systems and for the second-level support. You will be located in Kriegstetten near Solothurn and you will work in close cooperation with the R&D team, also based in Switzerland.

International Systems Support Technician

In this position, you will support the R&D department in defining and implementing these KPIs. You will perform deep data analyses using BI tool like TIBCO Spotfire. In addition, you will provide second level supports to our customers during about 20% of your time.

This position requires the ability to understand how pieces of a puzzle go together. Strong analytical skills are keys and you must be a team player as you will be between development and customers.

Your mission:

  • Analyze data at different levels of the chain of production and provide with technical KPIs to improve the monitoring & Data quality (e.g. what should be monitored to detect technical issues in a panel early enough; how to implement the monitoring).
  • Analyze panels' data to understand possible irregularities or to provide customers with clear answers.
  • Support the R&D department in data analysis.
  • Second level panel support (20% of the time)
  • Set-up of new panels including training of the customers

You will work in a young a dynamical environment and will be part of a SAFe Agile Release Train comprising about 90 engineers and responsible to provide with a complete media measurement system.

Your skills: 

  • You have a degree on a technician level (Mediamatiker, Telematiker, HF, e.g.) and technical support experience, ideally in the area of multimedia systems
  • You like to communicate with people and represent the company to customers
  • You can handle stress situations and changing priorities
  • Travelling is not a problem for you (possible stay in other countries up to 2-3 weeks)
  • Your English (written and spoken) is on a professional level
  • Spoken German is a must
